Hey Doyles Room – I want my monies

October 29, 2008 by TG · Leave a Comment

Doyles Room is sending notices to their players today that they’re having “trouble with a payment processor” and as a result, adding up to 30 days time to process cash outs.

This is yet another black eye for the online poker world following a string of negative press. Cash out issues, players in certain states being IP blocked from accessing poker sites, multi-accounting accusations, and now allegations of bots at Full Tilt Poker.

Can it get much worse?

The email from Doyles Room reads:

The purpose of this email is to convey to you our sincere apologies for any or all inconvenience you may have or are experiencing during these past few weeks with respect to the withdrawals you have requested via check(s) or courier.

We have been informed by our (2) merchant processors about technical problems within their system. Unfortunately, their systems are now down and all our checks are on hold until further notice. We estimate that you could be receiving the payment in about or around 20 to 30 more working days in light of the overwhelming amount of checks being issued.

We want to inform you of this delay as soon we were advised as a testament to our appreciation as our customer(s). We know this situation it’s been extremely frustrating for you as well as for us, especially in light of the fact that you have been a valued customer of ours…

Let me assure you that what had happened is not typical of Doyle’s Room Accounting Department Services. We continue to be committed to providing you and all of our customers with the highest standards of service in the industry.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call me at (888) 762-XXXX ext. XXXX or to send an email to iwantmymonies@doylesroom.com

Yours in service,
Blah, Blah, Blah.
