Lebron is a free agent

Someone’s going to have to cough up some serious cash this year. That’s right, the NBA player whose posters adorn the bedroom walls of every NBA owner and head coach is finally on the market. Lebron James, coming off a shocker of a loss to the Celtics in the playoffs this year, now has several weeks to see what happens come July when a decision will be made on his future.

He has stated that he wants to stay in Cleveland but it’s clear that teams such as the Nets are courting him (a basketball pun, get it?). Where he lands remains to be seen but it will be interesting to see how his performance in the Celtics game weighs in the decision. He’s still looking at the prospect of leaving Cleveland with no Championship, something that seemed a given when he joined the team years ago.
